Vernon Dale Woodworth

Vernon (Vern) Woodworth 66, of Vista California, went home March 21, 2021, surrounded by his loving family.
Vern is predeceased by his Father Benjamin Woodworth, his Mother Alice (Pinckney) Woodworth, a sister Luann Reed, and a nephew Gary Wilson II.
He is survived by Terry, his wife of 45 years, his 3 children, Derek (Shannon) Woodworth, Edward (Patricia) Woodworth, and Allison (Joel) Gardenier. Vern was the proud grandfather of 8 Grandchildren, Cody, Quinton, Zachary, Gavin, Ian, Montanna, Nevaeh, and Abigail, and 1 Great Grandson Braxton. Vern is also survived by his Brother Steven Woodworth, Sisters Lori Warren, Cindy Wilson, Mary Miller, and Jodi Marvin. Vern is also the proud uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Family was very important to Vern, he enjoyed nothing more then to be surrounded by his family.
Vern was an avid builder and flyer of model airplanes. He loved 4 wheeling, snowmobiling, and camping. He especially loved sitting around the campfire with a coffee in one hand, and family all around him. Vern and Terry took their camper and traveled around the country in 2016, enjoying each other's company and the sights of this beautiful country.
