Sara Caskey

Sara Caskey passed away on December 3, 2024. She was born on June 5, 1924, in 

Cambridge, Massachusetts, the daughter of Ruth B. and Paul D. Caskey. The family resided in Belmont. She was predeceased by her brother, Walter Caskey, and sister, Mary Avery. She graduated from Connecticut College for Women in 1946, married, raised her family in Lexington, Massachusetts, and later divorced. 

Sara moved to Phoenix in 1981. She enjoyed swimming in her pool, exploring her new home in the Southwest, and traveling to Ireland, the UK, Hawaii, and many National Parks. She was an avid reader and an accomplished knitter. She also embroidered many beautiful wall hangings, which she shared with the entire family. 

 Above all, she was devoted to her family. She resided at La Siena Senior Living Community during her final two and a half years. She is survived by her three daughters, Pat Morey of Goshen, MA., Bibi Bhani Khalsa of Phoenix, AZ, and Janet Kelly of San Jose. CA., four grandchildren, Guru Sangeet Khalsa, Guru Bani/Mele Khalsa, Conor Morey-Barrett, Maeve Morey-Barrett, two great-grandchildren, Beydan and Makayl Morey-Barrett, two nieces, and four nephews.
