Robert "Rob" Kim Rongstad

Robert Kim Rongstad, 49, of Huntington Beach, CA, passed away on February 5, 2017 at Fountain Valley Regional Hospital following complications of brain and liver cancer.

Robert was born on Octobert 14, 1967, at Jess Parrish Memorial Hospital in Titusville, Florida. He lived in New Smyrna Beach, FL until he was three years of age, and his family moved to Laguna Hills, CA. Robert moved around southern California until he settled in Huntington Beach, CA. Robert graduated from El Toro High School in El Toro, CA. He worked as a concierge in the hotel business for many years. He was a sweet, loving, giving person who really loved to spend time with his family. Robert enjoyed listening to 1st generation punk music and old school hair bands.

Robert was preceded in death by his father Ron Rongstad; his brothers David, Grandville, John, Ron; and his sister Nancy. Robert is survived by his mother Sandra Ethel Snyder; his brothers Chris, Matthew, Michael; and his sisters Linda, Paula, Marguerite. He also leaves to cherish fond memories a host of other relatives and friends.
