Marlene Joanne Hilkemeier
passed away February 14th in Glendale AZ.
Mar was born to Henry and Lorna Stahla on September 8th 1954 in Kimball NE.
She attended Kimball Public Schools and then received her associates degree from Aims Community College.
Soon after that Mar went to work as a flight attendant for Frontier Airlines for ten years. That was a career she truly loved.
Mar had various successful sales jobs until her retirement.
She married Rob Hilkemeier in 1998. She and Rob enjoyed the Phoenix climate and hanging by the pool.
Mar loved all dogs!
She is survived by her husband Rob of Glendale AZ. Brothers George(Maria)Stahla of Chandler AZ.
Jack(Jeannie) Winchester of Cheyenne WY. Henry(Ellen) Stahla of Kimball NE. And Dave(Toni) Stahla of Kimball.
Sisters Dianne (Ray) Stahla of Loveland CO. Norma(John) Nail of Portland OR. Ella Johnson of Kimball, and twin sister Dar Gardner of Kimball.
She was preceded in death by mother Lorna, father Henry, sister Rosie Walsh and sister Jean Winchester.
A memorial service was held February 27, 2020 at the First English Lutheran Church of Kimball NE. Memorials may be made to the church.
