Lynn Anne Kruse
March 17, 1956 – August 23, 2025
Lynn Anne (Scheier) Kruse, born on St. Patrick’s Day in 1956 in Montreal, Canada, passed away surrounded by love. Known for her generosity, gardening skills, and her readiness to share a good story. Lynn will be remembered for the way she made people feel at home, whether in her kitchen, her garden, or simply in her presence.
She leaves behind her devoted husband of over 45 years, Wayne Kruse; her daughter, Jessica (Kevin) Stuart; her son, Weston (Erika) Kruse; and her four cherished grandchildren, Jack Stuart, McKenna Stuart, Simone Kruse, and Wyatt Kruse, who were the light of her life.
Lynn adored nature and took pride in tending to her fruit trees and grapevines, decorating her home for the seasons, and caring for her family. She was a creative cook and baker, a generous hostess, and the kind of neighbor and friend who always showed up. She was funny and witty, good at rolling her eyes when Wayne talked too much, and just as good at being honest, decent, and kind.
She treasured her lifelong friendships, holding dear the great friends from each chapter of her life who stood by her through it all. If you are from Perrysburg or the Buffalo area, Lynn wanted you to know how much she appreciated your love, support, and endless laughter over the years.
She is also survived by her loving mother, Lorraine (Paul) Scheier; her sisters, Debbie (Larry) Haser and Kathy (Michael) Ross; her brother, Tom Scheier; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Lynn’s legacy is one of family, warmth, and a deep appreciation for life’s simple pleasures. She will always be remembered for being a great mom, grandma, sister, daughter, wife, bus driver, gardener, gambler, cook, hostess, friend, and human being. Above all, she will be remembered for how deeply she loved and appreciated so many.
A celebration of Lynn’s life will be planned in Perrysburg, Ohio at a future date, where family and friends can gather to share stories, laughter, and love in her honor. Until then, please consider leaving a short story or note in the online guestbook. This will eventually be printed as a book and given to her grandchildren to assist in keeping her memory alive.
