Lydia R Fletes passed away at Banner University Medical Center on May 11th 2025, at the age of 65 , with her family by her side.

She is survived by her Husband Pedro Fletes and her children; Jennifer, Peter, Brother Daniel, Sister Aurora, and Her Grandchildren: Emily Fletes, Benjamin Lopez, and friends.

Lydia was born on July 4, 1959 in Los Angeles California. Lydia grew up mostly in Los Angeles but moved briefly to Washington state to be near her brother who was stationed with the military at Ft. Lewis. After two years she moved back to Los Angeles to marry her the love of her life Pedro. Lydia and Pedro lived the majority of their life in Los Angeles where they had two wonderful children Peter and Jennifer. After her retirement from Los Angeles County, Lydia and her family moved to Phoenix, Arizona in 2021. Lydia continued to enjoy life with family and friends despite her challenges. She spent most of her happiest years traveling with her family and spending time with friends. Lydia always went out of her way to help a friend or family member. Her friends and family always asked for her valued advice. In her final days she reminisced about the special connection she had with all her family and friends. She always cherished those memories. She knew it was her time and as always in her life, she had the strength to face danger, difficulty or fear. She lived life to the fullest.

Rest in peace Mom, Sister, and friend. We are loved forever. You are free from pain in Gods hands.

A heartfelt thank you to Banner University Medical Center, doctors and nurses for his amazing care of Mother and Sister. You treated her with respect and compassion, and we are truly grateful. Thank you to all the staff at Banner University Medical Center who cared for her in the ICU. We also want to thank the friend from the DaVita Maryvale Dialysis Cebnter.
