Linda Jean Fredrickson

Linda Jean Fredrickson

LJ loved the beach. In her younger years she loved long walks along the San Diego beaches, and In her later years enjoyed watching sunsets at the shore. She loved her brother’s children and grandchildren and treasured the times she got to spend with them. LJ is survived by an older brother Mark and a younger brother Greg.

She was a very sentimental person collecting photographs and keepsakes of special people and experiences. She loved flowers and the colors pink and lavender. Dressing stylishly, and decorating passionately in these colors.

She grew up in Colorado and was a flight attendant with the original Frontier airlines. She discovered the City of Carlsbad by the Sea and made it her home. She was a big fan of Rod McKuen; the poem “A Cat Named Sloopy” and the album “The Sea” were among her favorites.

She loved long conversations with her friends and neighbors.

Linda Jean you will be missed. When we see a sunset over the water, we can pause a moment and think of you. Rest in peace and pain free.
