Kara Evan Khamo

Kara Evan Khamo was born on a beautiful, rainy Friday on April 13, 2012. She passed away on Tuesday, April 25, 2017, at CHOC Children's Hospital in Orange, CA following complications of neuroblastoma, a rare childhood cancer. She was surrounded by her family, favorite doctors and nurses and hospital staff when her spirit left her vessel.

Though only five years old, Kara lived her life on earth to the fullest. She was a joy to all. Her smile infected every person she came in contact with. You never would have believed Kara had stage 4 cancer. Her energy put those in good health to shame. She painted, played, laughed, sang and danced through her pain and suffering. She loved her family, her dogs, and her snow globe collection. She adored her best friend Julian. She loved to give back. SHE LOVED JESUS. She was the perfect example of what it meant to be a child of God. She remained faithful to the Lord 'til her very last breath and her story is one that will bring faith, hope and inspiration for years to come.
