Brian Delos Santos, of Yorba Linda, California, passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2017, at the age of 62.
Brian was born to parents Fortunato and Edna Delos Santos on March 17, 1955. He grew up in Waipahu, Hawaii, and attended Waipahu High School and graduated in 1973. In 1977, he moved from Hawaii to Southern California and married his high school sweetheart, Jamie Lynn Riley. They had two children, Sarah Leilani and Kyle Kekoa, and lived in Yorba Linda, California, for the last 33 years.
He proudly worked at Kimberly Clark in Fullerton, California, for 38 years, where his brother Mack also worked. Brian was well respected by his co-workers who valued his professionalism and his personal style of connecting with them.
Brian is survived by his wife, Jamie; daughter, Sarah Delos Santos; son, Kyle Delos Santos; his brothers Edward and MacArthur (Mack) Bumanglag; his sister, Annette Delos Santos; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews; and his father and mother-in-law, James and Jane Riley, of Corpus Christi, Texas. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; his parents, Fortunato and Edna; and his aunties, uncles and cousins.
Brian will be best remembered as a kind-hearted person who always projected the spirit of Aloha. He fought valiantly against cancer with a positive attitude. He will be missed terribly by his family, friends, and those long-time friends who knew him growing up in Hawaii.
Brian was surrounded by his loving "ohana" (family) when he passed away. He was cremated per his wishes and his ashes will be scattered in Hawaii, Las Vegas, and California. The family is sincerely grateful for the condolences and prayers received from family, friends, and co-workers.
